Lewis Miley, 18
Miley was the standout performer against Bromley, scoring a sensational goal that highlighted his technical ability and composure well beyond his years - can you believe he’s only 19!?
The local lad continues to build on last season’s breakout campaign, where he became Newcastle’s youngest-ever Premier League debutant and even featured in the Champions League.
It’s clear Miley is ready and eager to take on a bigger role in the team going forward.

Alfie Harrison, 19
Though Harrison didn’t feature in the FA Cup clash, the central midfielder remains a top prospect after joining from Manchester City almost a year ago.
He played a key role in their Under-18 Premier League title-winning campaign in 2022/23, showcasing his talent as a dynamic central midfielder.
Harrison carried that form into the following season, racking up eight goals and four assists before making the switch to St. James’ Park.
Alex Murphy, 20
The Irish defender, capable of playing both left-back and centre-back, has already made his Premier League debut and captained Ireland at the youth level.
With his versatility and defensive reliability, Murphy made the team sheet in Sunday’s FA Cup 3rd round and is knocking on the door for more minutes.
Trevan Sanusi, 17
Sunday marked a huge milestone for Sanusi, as he made his professional debut late in the game against Bromley.
The direct and skilful winger, who joined from Birmingham City, has impressed with his performances at youth level and is now making his first steps into the senior side.
With Man City reported to have been after him at Birmingham & England youth appearances already under his belt, Sanusi’s potential is undeniable.
Garang Kuol, 20
Kuol arrived on Tyneside from Australia in early 2023 after an eye-catching performance at the Qatar World Cup, where he became the youngest-ever player to represent Australia on that stage.
Garang Kuol’s journey at Newcastle United has been a challenging one, but the young Australian remains a player with enormous potential.
His early loan spells, however, didn’t go as planned, most recently Kuol found himslef struggling for minutes in a struggling FC Volendam side.
Most recently, a quad tear further disrupted his development, but at just 20 years old, Kuol has time on his side and the raw talent to succeed.
William Osula, 21
Osula made his presence well known on Sunday with a stunning solo first goal in black and white.
The Danish forward looked sharp and hungry, showing glimpses of his ability to be a valuable replacement for the injured Callum Wilson.
With more injuries and opportunities bound to come, he’s made a great case for a little more first-team action during the second half of the season.
